It’s so easy to be inspired by works of Andy Warhol. I popped into the opening reception of, “Andy Warhol – Final Years” at the Taglialatella Galleries in Chelsea on Thursday evening. It was hosted by Penny Arcade, superstar of Warhol’s Factory years and a Downtown cultural icon in her own right.
The show features works executed on canvas and paper and includes collaborative pieces with Jean-Michel Basquiat and Francesco Clemente. This final chapter of his career is now considered to be one of the most important and prolific. The show will run until October 24th. Don’t miss this chance to see it! Contact the gallery’s site for more details.
